Great museum! Beautiful area to walk around in and see some old saw mill equipment, water mill, covered bridge, fish ladder, and a dam. Nice trails to walk around in and gorgeous views of the river.

This place is wonderful to visit. It's extremely pretty with it's covered bridge, mill, and other buildings. Walking is a little hilly and a little rough but my 93 year old MinL could get around fine unassisted (she is in good shape). The Lombard Log Haulers, up by rhe parking lot are a special draw.

Great place to visit, especially On their living history days! It's an awesome event for kids and adults!

This place is all volunteer run and they are ti be commended! Still, watch the website to attend while the site is open in order to get interpretation and building access. Better yet, go during their larger events. It's still a pretty walk at other times but not the learning experience.

Nice family outing... check ours before going
